Ami Fujita is a Japanese creative hair stylist based in London.

She began her career in hair training as a hairdresser in Tokyo, Japan.

It wasn't long before Ami began to look outside of the salon for other opportunities to work with hair and began assisting session hairstylist Kazuya Matsumoto in Tokyo.

Six years later honing and developing her skills she took the decision to move to London in 2011 to pursue a career in the creative and fashion industry.

After witnessing the limitless possibilities for a session hair stylist and the potential to use hair as a form of expression and way to be creative Ami started testing with friends that were photographer and stylists getting small stories placed in publications on magazines and advertising.

In the last few years she has been working alongside some important and most influential hairstylists such as Sam Mcknight, Guido, Paul Hanlon, Stephan Low, Akki, Asashi, Kenichi on the shows in London, Milan, Paris and Tokyo Fashion Week.
